Scam With Your Friends Platforms & Requirements
Windows, Mac, console and mobile: keep confirmed support separate from similarly named listings.
Windows PC through Steam is confirmed. Mac, Linux and Proton are listed as unsupported in the official notes. No official console or mobile release was found in the sources checked.
Which platforms are confirmed?
The official Steam product confirms Windows PC. Its platform metadata enables Windows and does not list native Mac or Linux support.
- Windows PC / Steam
- Confirmed release; Windows 10 / 11, 64-bit listed.
- Native macOS / Linux
- Not supported in the checked Steam listing.
- Xbox / PS5
- No publisher-confirmed console release or date found in the official sources checked.
- Android / iOS
- No official mobile release linked from the game pages checked.
- Steam Deck / Proton
- No supported Proton setup established; official compatibility notes list Proton as unsupported.
These findings describe the official pages checked on October 21, 2026. They do not rule out a future announcement. Use a new publisher announcement or linked product page to confirm a later release.
Mac, Linux and compatibility tools
Update 0.1.73 explicitly lists Mac, Linux, CrossOver, Wine and Proton as unsupported. A video showing one workaround running does not establish supported speech, AI access or stable multiplayer on your setup.
If you are choosing hardware or considering a purchase, use the confirmed Windows requirements in download and setup. This guide has not tested a Mac, Linux or Steam Deck workaround.
Is it on Xbox or PS5?
No publisher-confirmed Xbox or PS5 edition was found in the official Steam and developer material checked. There is no verified console release date to give here.
If you find another listing, check its supported devices, developer, publisher and link from the official game website. Controller icons alone describe input support and do not confirm a console edition.
Is there an Android or iPhone version?
The checked official game website links to Steam rather than an Android or iOS release. Do not assume an APK or similarly named app is the same game based on its title or icon.
The game identity to compare is JakeHub and Metater / Jatater Worldwide, Steam App ID 4954910. Return to the official download link when a listing’s identity is unclear.
Can I use a controller on PC?
The Steam metadata lists full controller support, including DualShock and DualSense categories. That describes controllers used with the Steam game; it does not change the supported operating system or establish PlayStation cross-play.
For the supported online player count and invitation flow, see multiplayer and co-op.
